In the recent Government activities to push for greener environment, we too decide to do our part in sending the message to the automotive industry. HURRICANE is pleased to take on the leading role in encouraging retailers in the automotive industry to promote this environmental friendly message to the public.

We seriously see the importance of recycle programme. We hope it will not be restricted to only Recycling Day but can be a whole year round campaign. We encourage consumer to switch to reusable bags. We would like to encourage more shoppers to switch to reusable bags and reduce the usage of plastic bags.

Shelf Talker on “Friendly Environment, Environment Friendly. Reuse this bag for shopping” will be put up to further raise public awareness and inform them that they can use recycle bag instead of plastic bag for shopping. With our design and quality of these reusable bags, it can be reused for months and years by the public and will act as moving environmental advertisements to promote waste minimization and recycling.

We will be giving out FREE reusable bag to consumer who purchase our product from 1 November to 1 January 2007. These bags are also available off the shelf at $2/- each.

During the month of November, the government is organizing an exhibition to showcase the achievements of the Public Service. The exhibition will be held from 15 -19 Nov 06 at Toa Payoh HDB Hub Mall, which is highly accessible and human traffic-heavy.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) will be showcasing various exhibits in “Friendly Environment, Environment Friendly” cluster.

Free reusable bags with recycling and environmental messages will be given to visitors while stocks last during the 5-days exhibition period. And if consumer is to be spotted purchasing products from Hurricane’s authorised dealers’ retail using the NEA free reusable bag during 15 November-19 November 06, they will be given a FREE HURRICANE baseball cap.
